Duo Baldo (Brad Repp - Aldo Gentileschi)
Renowned violinist Brad Repp and pianist/actor Aldo Gentileschi are the madness and genius behind the musical comedy that is Duo Baldo.
Their acclaimed concerts combine virtuoso performances, theatrical humor and pop culture. Duo Baldo debuted in 2004 with the Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli. In February 2006 they won first prize at the National Short Theater Competition in Florence.
After winning the first prize at the Musicomicontest 2009, they performed at the opening of the Salzburger Festspiele 2010. Other prestigious references include performances at the Musashino Cultural Foundation in Tokyo, the Shanghai Concert Hall, the Beijing Concert Hall, the Chamber Music Society of Trieste, the Festival Classica Sant Fruitós De Bages in Barcelona, as well as performances in Brescia, Lugano (Switzerland), Mexico City and Stockholm.
