The Viva Classic Live concerts in Venlo promise to be a spectacular experience again this year for lovers of classical music. The festival is organized by cultural entrepreneur and baritone Sef Thissen, who has once again succeeded in bringing several world-famous artists to Venlo.
Line up
The complete line-up has been announced!
One of the absolute stars of the event is soprano Eva Maria Westbroek. Westbroek is a Dutch soprano with a powerful voice and is known for her dramatic performances of operatic heroines. She has performed in renowned opera houses around the world, including the Metropolitan Opera, Royal Opera House and La Scala. Her performance in Venlo is a unique opportunity for the audience to enjoy her talent.
In addition to Eva Maria Westbroek, other international artists will also perform, such as the Mexican tenor Hector Sandoval and the comical musical duo Baldo, consisting of violinist Brad Repp and pianist/actor Aldo Gentileschi. It promises to be a varied and impressive line-up.
The festival is supported by The New Symphonics and Coro Classico conducted by Maurice Luttikhuis.
The concerts are scheduled for September 2, 3, 8, 9 and 10, 2023. Ticket sales for the concert have already started and tickets can be purchased via the website of Theater de Maaspoort.
